The Rocca family moved to the current Rocca house, dating back to 1700, at the beginning of the twentieth century. At that time the primary occupation of our great-great-grandparents was agriculture, only in the 60s Rocca Vitale left his native lands devoting himself to the restaurant world. Later on his son Rocca Luciano Eugenio, along with his brother Giovanni, started a began a flourishing wine trade that made possible the restoration of the building.Since 2002 the house has begun to be inhabited again, the land, never abandoned, has been expanded and new hazelnuts implants have been made.

Starting from one of the main products of our Monferrato, the Tonda Gentile Trilobata hazelnut, up to the hay for our sheeps, the Rocca family conducts a non-intensive type of agriculture, careful to preserve the qualities and characteristics that make our territory unique and inimitable. Thanks to the white earth, rich in chalk and the mild climate we create products of the highest quality with great fidelity to tradition. Currently the entire farm is in organic conversion.
